The Poultry Science Association (PSA) is a professional organization consisting of approximately 1,500 educators, scientists, extension specialists, industry researchers, administrators, producers, and college students who are committed to advancing the poultry industry.

The Auburn University Department of Poultry Science's mission is to utilize a comprehensive and integrative teaching-research-outreach approach to address needs and opportunities in the poultry and food systems at a state, national and global level.

The NPTC's mission is to improve bottom line profitability of the live production sector of the US poultry industry by providing timely applied research and education resulting in increased efficiencies in housing, equipment, energy and environmental control.
