It is both an honor and pleasure to serve you as president of the Alabama Poultry & Egg Association during the next year. I pledge to you that I will work hard to strengthen our association and improve the poultry industry during this term, but I can't do it without your help.
I
want to assure you that I will do everything in my power to make our industry
safer and more profitable. Therefore, I want to continue to focus on stronger
biosecurity both on the farm and at the plant. In addition I want to work
with poultry producers, educators and the Association staff in an effort
to find better ways of cutting costs and increasing profits through innovation
and more efficient farm management.
To be successful I need your input and ideas.
As always, it will take all of us working together to accomplish these goals.
I look forward to working with you during the next months.
Finally, I simply ask for your support
and prayers during this year as we attempt to make the poultry industry the
best that it can be.
