The Association’s recently completed Montgomery office played host to at least 100 visitors during the annual Open House Christmas party on Tuesday, December 10. Poultry professionals from across the state converged on Montgomery to join staff members in an evening of good cheer and merriment.
Among the guest present were newly elected Lt. Gov. Lucy Baxley, Ag Commissioner-elect Ron Sparks, AP&EA President Roddy Sanders, AP&EA past president and Hall of Fame member Bill Jordan, Grower Committee Chairman Ken Taylor, several AP&EA board members, friends of the Association and others.
“I feel the Open House was very positive,” said Sanders.
With the completion of the office’s meeting room, visitors had plenty of space to rub elbows and enjoy the social atmosphere.
“It was an impressive turnout,” said AP&EA Executive Director Johnny Adams. “I was pleased that many of our state’s leaders took time to come by and enjoy our new facility.”
